its been a while

So I haven't posted anything in forever and a day.
I moved out again. I'm living with my friend Erin, and we get along great... probably because we are never here at the same time...haha jk, I love her!!

Nothing new or exciting has happened lately. But I did go see Hillary Clinton speak today...just for fun.

Erick and my grandaddy and Chase all got fourwheelers so that has quickly become a favorite past time of mine.. Here are some pics of one of our fourwheeling trips to Allen County

Me and Trevor

Me and Grandaddy, I wish I couldn't fit on a little kids four-wheeler.

Me and Jamie.. this is the best picture I could find to show when I dyed my hair dark for a while..

I went to see The Hives on friday night at the Wildhorse in Nashville. I don't have any pictures but it was awesome. And I got a guitar pick off the stage, and the lead singer bent down and sang right to me when I was standing up front. :) He loved me. j/k but seriously, I had a lot of fun...

Oooh The Weekend...

Friday was perty fun if I do say so myself. Friday night, Erica, Jenna, Mary Beth and I got together at Erica's apartment. We ate some chili and played a game, taking frequent breaks to tell true ghost stories (I guess it was just on our minds because of Halloween) and we had a real good time. Kurt stopped by and we headed to Froggy's picking up Shannon on the way. Once we were there, Trevor met up with us, and a few other guys and we all just hung out and goofed around.

The girls minus Jenna, because she was taking the picture

Saturday, Trevor and I went to BrewCo. to see our friend's band play (Von Guarde) Kurt met up with us. There weren't a whole lot of folks but we went down to the basement and danced some and just hung out for a little bit. There were some entertaining people there, so it was pretty ok. And the music was good.

Side Note: My camera is broken but I think I will get one for my birthday or Christmas so then I may post everyday.

I'm Really Bored

Ok, so I babysit everyday, and when the twins are sleeping I don't have much to do. So I thought I might just add some random pictures with my friends.

This is a picture of Amanda, Shannon, me, and Erica from Erica's 21st birthday! We had a really fun time.

Hanging out at my brother's apartment is a regular occurrence. This is me, Trevor, and Amanda's soon to be fiance, Dustin.

I took Erica to see Ben Harper at the Palace Theatre in Louisville as somewhat of a birthday present. I say that because the tickets were free, but I did drive! I had 4 tickets (VIP, might I add, it's not as cool as it sounds though) so Trevor came with us and one of his friends met us there. This is us in the Palace.

Amanda, Me, Alyssa, Erica, and Mary Beth... almost all of my best girl friends!

Fall

I guess I'll go ahead and jump to the fall, instead of trying to catch up on the summer.

I love fall weather. It's so much fun when it starts to get colder and you can put on your sweatshirts, and have camp fires. Yesterday was Halloween so my friend Courtney and I decided to go to our boyfriend's house (our boyfriends live together) and pass out candy to the kids that were trick-or-treating. Trevor and I got pumpkins at Jackson's Orchard recently so with the help of their other roommate, Wesley, Trevor and I carved them on the front porch. All 5 of us pitched in giving out the candy, and it was a lot of fun.

Here is a picture of our trip to Jackson's Orchard.

This weekend was Brickyard's annual Halloween party. Amanda, Erica, and their boyfriends, along with me and Trevor, got dressed up and went out. It was a blast. I was Bubbles, the PowerPuff Girl, and Trevor was a nerd.

Erica was Dolly, and Amanda was an 80's prom queen. The 6 of us had a lot of fun hanging out, and afterwards, Trevor and I went to our friend Max's Halloween party.

Long Time, No Post

Well, I haven't posted anything in a while and since I have a lot of free time, I thought I'd go ahead and give Melissa something to read, being that she's the only one who looks at this thing.

I went on a mission trip this summer; June 2nd-9th, to be exact. It was one of the greatest weeks of my life. We traveled to El Salvador and spent the week hanging out with people, teaching the kids, putting floors in dirt floor houses, laying concrete etc. It was amazing to me how well we could communicate even with the language barrier.

This is a picture of us doing some concrete work at one of the 2 churches we worked at.

While we were there, my best friend Amanda and I befriended an 11 year old boy named JOSÉ. He was so sweet, and adorable. He could say a few phrases in english, and we taught him games to play where talking wasn't needed. He followed me and Amanda around the enitre time, and I was so sad to leave him!

We did find some time to relax at the end of the week. One day we went sight-seeing for a few hours, and even got to go inside a volcano. It was neat, but the ride to the top in the bus was the scariest thing I've ever encountered. This is me standing beside a lake of diluted sulfuric acid, inside the volcano.

On Friday we rented out some sort of resort on the beach an hour away and took all the kids from both churches. We swam, and played games, and had an awesome time. El Salvador was amazing, and there is so much more I could say about it. I can't wait to go back.

Why Am I So Old?

So obviously the cool thing to do these days is get married and/or engaged. It's happening to so many people I know, it's really starting to weird me out. AND I'm beginning to wonder about myself considering I currently don't even have a boyfriend. Anyway, one of my good friends from high school got married this weekend and it was so much fun. Hopefully I will get some pictures on here soon. :)

UPDATE:
Here is a picture from the wedding reception.

Uncle Jeff's Party

This year was the second annual Uncle Jeff's Party... My aunt and Uncle run a camp in Alabama and on the weekend around the 4th of July, they don't have campers, so we have started a tradition. My cousin Steven has a lot of friends who play music, so we have a music festival of sorts and then shoot off fireworks. It's so much fun because my whole family goes and we swim and hang out at the lake and just have a really good time. Here are a couple of pics of the fun.
PS Uncle Jeff is actually my dad.

My cousin Emily and I try to be very careful when jumping into the pool. We always want to look our best, because you never know who might be snapping a picture.

One of the songs The Furious Four played required blinking to the beat.
